Our Story

I’m Jamie, the founder of UK Hair Care Products.

My journey into hairdressing began in 2004 when I started a salon apprenticeship at just 15 years old. School wasn’t where I found my passion—I always knew I wanted to build a career doing something creative and meaningful. Over the last 20 years, hairdressing has become more than just my profession; it’s become my purpose.

Throughout my career, one thing has always stayed the same: I genuinely love helping people feel better about themselves. Every client who sat in my chair came with a different story, a different hair type, or a different challenge, and I made it my mission to find the products and treatments that would help them achieve the results they wanted.

After becoming self-employed, the challenges of COVID-19 brought new uncertainty. As people stayed at home, many were unable to visit salons and found themselves neglecting their hair and self-care routines. I saw first-hand how much this affected people’s confidence and wellbeing.

That’s when I started selling professional haircare online, making trusted salon-quality products available to people in the comfort of their own homes. What began through eBay has now grown into this online store, built with one purpose—to bring expert haircare advice and premium products to everyone.
